Co-managing director Chris Tang represented the company at this year's official launch, held in Diamond Hill on Friday 23 March 2024 and organised by the Wheelock Group-led charity, Project WeCan.
The event, a highlight of the entrepreneurial spirit among youth, saw participation from teams across sixty public funded high schools in Hong Kong. These young entrepreneurs showcased their business acumen, from the design of concept to the production of their innovative own-branded products.
Chris Tang, who also served on the judging panel, expressed his admiration for the participants: “The level of creativity, ingenuity, and determination displayed by the students at the Young Innovators’ Bazaar was truly astounding. It’s inspiring to see such young minds approach real-world problems with such unique perspectives and solutions. Star Anise is honoured to support Project WeCan and the bright future these creative and resourceful students represent.”
The event not only provided a platform for students to exhibit their entrepreneurial skills but also fostered a spirit of innovation and collaboration among the next generation of leaders.
